There is a New sanso-xtro song released on a beautiful box set by powershovel books/Audio (japan).
The box set is a tribute to Japanese Photographer Moriyama Daido. It is called Moriyama Zoo NO.1 ~ tribute to daido Moriyama ~
At the moment it can only be purchased in Japan but sometime soon it will also be available from the photographers gallery in London & the ICP in New York. It is a limited edition of 1000 copies only.
The full line-up of Artists on the Audio part of this box set is: David Grubbs, Dj Olive, Dirty Three, Matmos, Lau Lau, Nico Muhly, Mount Eerie, Jan Jelinek, sanso-xtro, The Zoo Wheel, Tide & Tickled Trio, Paavoharju,& Directorsound.
The Box contains 2 picture disc vinyl records, 1 CD, 1 book of Moriyama prints and a game.

My sincere apologies for the lack of news updates here.. i have had alot of emails asking whether there is a follow up album to sentimentalist in the pipeline.... well, ...Yes! i have been very busy working on new songs since i moved back to Australia and the new album should be finished by mid september. (The release details however are yet to be confirmed....)
NEW LIVE SHOWS: EME Festival in Lisbon, Portugal on the 4th of October. I will be playing this festival solo (no band!) .

Hello and Happy belated New Year to you all !
As you may or may not know, after seven glorious
years residing in London's Borough of Hackney,
Christmas 2006 saw the return of sanso-xtro to
the sunny shores of South Australia where i am
currently working on new material for the follow up
to my debut album 'sentimentalist' which was
released on Type Records in 2005.
